Children from a St Albans nursery "loved every minute" of a recent visit by officers from Welwyn Hatfield police officers.
The officers, Tristan and James, discussed their roles and demonstrated equipment to the youngsters at Canopy Children’s Nursery.
This gave the children the opportunity to use police shields and radios, and they even got to sit in the police car in their hi-vis vests and police hats.
Karishma Dhamecha, director of Canopy, said: "It was an absolute pleasure to welcome both police officers.
"The children loved every minute of the visit, especially when the police officers allowed them to sit inside the police car and pretend to be the driver.
"After the visit the children let their imagination run wild, creating their very own police station, dressing up, role-playing scenarios and discussing people and organisations which can help us.
"A massive thank you to Welwyn and Hatfield Police."
