A wanted man from St Albans has been found and arrested following reports of suspicious behaviour near Waterend Barn.
Police arrested a 24-year-old, who was wanted on recall to prison, on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and assaulting a police officer in the Rose Gardens area of the city.
Police were contacted at 9.40am on Wednesday, June 12, after a member of the public reported a man acting suspiciously outside Waterend Barn. His actions were captured by council CCTV cameras.
A Herts police spokesperson said: "PC Ben Kirby from the Neighbourhood Team arrested a 24-year-old from St Albans on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and assaulting a police officer.
"He has been sent back to prison and enquiries continue into the drugs and assault offences."
Thousands of pounds of class A drugs suspected to be ketamine, MDMA and cocaine were seized.
