A man has been arrested in Borehamwood after medals were stolen, with police keen to trace the owner.
The medals were discovered after officers arrested a man, who has been bailed while further enquiries are carried out.
Police are now keen to trace the owner of the medals, with investigator Charlotte Hartley, from the Hertsmere Local Crime Unit, saying: "It is believed that the medals have been stolen but, despite initial enquiries, we have been unable to locate a potential owner.
"I suspect they will be of sentimental value to someone and would love to be able to return them. If you think you know who they may belong to, please get in touch."
