A Luton teenager has been arrested as part of an investigation into the theft of £12,000 worth of alcohol from Sainsbury's.
The 17-year-old was taken into custody this morning (Friday, May 10) on suspicion of eight counts of theft and three of robbery.
Alcohol worth £12,000 had been taken from Sainsbury’s in Shenley Road, Hemel Hempstead, between September 2023 and May 2024.
It was also reported that staff were threatened on several occasions.
The teenager remains in police custody at this time.
