Excited shoppers flocked to the grand opening of Hemel Hempstead's new B&M store last week.
The shop in The Marlowes Shopping Centre welcomed customers for the first time on Thursday (May 2), who were keen to get their hands of the retailer's full range of garden and homeware products.
Early bird shoppers who arrived before the 8am opening time had the chance to be the first through the door for a £250 spending spree, with the lucky winner picking out new kitchenware, bedding, and a host of treats from the food and drinks aisle.
The store was officially opened by representatives from the Alzheimer's Society, the Marlowes chosen charity this year, and the centre mascot Marley.

"We are thrilled to welcome B&M to the centre and it was fantastic to celebrate the opening with the wonderful team from The Alzheimer’s Society, our mascot Marley and so many loyal customers," said Humphrey Mwanza, centre manager at The Marlowes Shopping Centre.
"The store is so big, there are so many offers and it was great to see our customers browsing the fantastic range of products available.
"Our Marlowes community is happy to welcome B&M to the family."
