Five Hertfordshire residents are among those convicted in recent weeks for drug-related offences, including possession of drugs or driving under the influence.
Each offender has appeared at Magistrates' courts across the country, having previously been charged.
1. Kaia Hynds, 22
Kaia Hynds - of Keswick Close, St Albans - was fined for possession of a class A drug (cocaine) and three counts of fraud by false representation on Wednesday, March 27.
On April 6, 2023, Hynds was found to be in possession of 1.075 grams of crack cocaine in St Albans.
On October 25, 2023, he used a bank card that was not his own to buy £27.19 of goods from Fleetville Post Office, £15 of goods from Martin's convenience store and £20 of goods from a convenience store in Sutton Road.
Hynds was ordered to pay £234 and handed a community order for his crimes.
2. Mohamed Mursel, 39
Watford resident Mohamed Mursel was fined for driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit and driving without third party insurance.
Following the incident on July 29, 2021, Mursel was fined £300 for both offences at Willesden Magistrates' Court on March 18.
He was also disqualified from driving for 18 months.
3. Kacper Rogowski, 20
Kacper Rogowski has been ordered to pay £165 after being found to be in possession of class A and class B drugs in Hemel Hempstead.
On May 19, 2023, the 20-year-old was found to be in possession of oxycodone and cannabis at the town's train station. Rogowski was also in possession of a knuckle duster at the time.
The man from Alexandra Road was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £80, following a hearing at Hatfield Magistrates' Court on March 19.
4. Eric Jones, 53
On Friday, August 11, 2023, Eric Jones drove a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit and did so without third party insurance.
At Hatfield Magistrates' Court on March 19, Jones was ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £32 surcharge.
The man from Boundary Lane, Welwyn Garden City, was also fined £80 and disqualified from driving for 12 months.
5. Kiaran Wylde, 29
On March 26, 2022, London Colney resident Kiaran Wylde was found to be in possession of a class A drug (methylamphetamine) and a class B drug (ketamine).
At Thames Magistrates' Court on March 7, he was fined £180, ordered to pay costs of £85 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £34.
The drugs that had been in Wylde's possession were also forfeited and destroyed.
