Five planning applications are among the key St Albans district notices set to impact residents in the coming months.

1. Great Revel End Farm, Redbourn
Plans have been submitted to convert a Redbourn barn into a microbrewery, by Farr Brew owner Nick Farr.
If accepted, the application would see the usage of a barn at Great Revel End Farm, Gaddesden Lane, changed from agricultural to a microbrewery.

2. Sleapshyde Farm, Smallford
An application has been made to change the usage of barns at Sleapshyde Farm, Smallford.
The plans would see the barns converted and changed to class C, residential uses.

3. Cornwall Road, St Albans
Plans have been submitted for a single storey side and rear extension to be created at 6 Cornwall Road, St Albans.
Rooflights would be installed, along with external wall installation.

4. Blackhorse Lane, Redbourn
Two planning applications have been submitted for housing in Redbourn.
Application 5/2024/0442 would see six dwellings created between Stoneleigh and St Luke's School, while 5/2024/0443 would see a further nine constructed between Datalogic House and Redbourn Recreation Centre.

5. Boundary Road, St Albans
An application has been submitted to replace an existing mono-pitch roof at 57 Boundary Road, St Albans.
New rooflights and alterations to openings are included in the plans.
