Plans for a HMO (house of multiple occupancy) have been approved in Drakes Drive, St Albans.
The application - approved on Wednesday (March 13) - will see the usage of 153 Drakes Drive changed from class C3 (residential) to class C4 (HMO).
Class C4 homes are small shared dwelling houses occupied by between three and six unrelated individuals.
Floor plans for 153 Drakes Drive reveal that four bedrooms will be included in the site along with a garage, lounge/dining area, conservatory, kitchen and bathroom.

A decision notice from St Albans City & District Council's planning committee reads: "A Certificate of Lawfulness (proposed) can be issued on the basis that the Change of use from Use Class C3 to Use Class C4 constitutes permitted development."
