St Albans' edition of popular board game Monopoly was officially launched at the city's cathedral this morning.
The event took place at 10am today (Tuesday, February 27) and saw Mr Monopoly joined by the Dean of St Albans, Rev Jo Kelly-Moore.
Ella Gibbs, custom games executive at Winning Moves UK, announced St Albans as the winning location in a public vote, with the city beating Hertford, Hemel Hempstead, Watford, Welwyn Garden City and Stevenage to the prize.
The new Monopoly: St Albans Edition will see over 30 city landmarks and favourites showcased on the board, which will be suggested by members of the public.
Ella Gibbs, said: "I've only been here today but there's lots of local pride, everyone is really excited for the edition.
"I think everyone just loves living here and being from St Albans, which is really exciting to see because it means that the edition will be really well received by everyone.
"I think we're going to have some really great suggestions! There's some really wonderful landmarks here as well, the Cathedral, the parks.
"So its going to be a really nice looking edition."
Suggestions can be made by emailing stalbans@winningmoves.co.uk or by visiting the official Monopoly: St Albans Edition Facebook page.
Asked for specific locations that already stand a chance of featuring, Ella continued: "The Cathedral has to be in there, everyone's mentioned the Waffle House as well, apparently that's really popular.
"There's some really exciting things to go on the board. The first step is for us to think about what goes on each of the squares.
"We theme it all by colour sets, so browns might be parks and monuments, green is education, reds are local businesses.

"So its thinking about what is going to make it onto those sets, as we've only got either three or two spaces in each part.
"You will find it all around St Albans, it will be sold on Amazon as well and small independent retailers."
Nominations for landmarks will be accepted from 10am today (Tuesday) until 11.59pm on March 10, with the final game available to purchase in October.
