Six Hertfordshire restaurants have achieved recognition in the esteemed Michelin Guide for their tasty offerings.
The restaurants, situated in quaint Hertfordshire towns and villages, vary in their culinary style but share a uniform standard of quality, according to the universal criteria for Michelin guide recognitions.
While none of the restaurants achieved a Michelin Star, to feature in the guide is considered just as notable, adhering to the same five criteria, namely quality of ingredients, flavours' harmony, culinary techniques, the personality of the chef in the cuisine, and consistency.
Michael Ellis, international director at the Michelin Guides, said: "A restaurant in the selection without a star is the sign of a chef using quality ingredients that are expertly cooked; simply a good meal."
This year, the list of eateries exhibited a few changes.
A new entry was welcomed from Harpenden, making there six noteworthy Hertfordshire locations.
