The store's discontinuation has been described as a "pause" for the company, rather than a permanent closure.
An announcement, made on Copperfield website states: "Following the celebration of our 50th year in business, we feel now is the right time to take a pause, we will sadly be closing our doors on February 29 and taking some time away from the fashion industry.
"Thank you for your support up to now and we will see you again soon."
