Hertfordshire police have seized a Welwyn Garden City motorist's BMW M2, forcing him to get a taxi back from Harpenden.
The vehicle was stopped at an Esso garage on Lower Luton Road, at around 8.15am this morning (Tuesday, February 6).
The BMW was uninsured and had no valid MOT, leading to the driver - a man in his 30s - being reported.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "A BMW M2 was seized by officers at 8.15am this morning as it was not insured and the driver had no valid MOT.
"The vehicle was stopped by your #HarpendenNeighbourhoodPolicingTeam officers on Lower Luton Road.
