A woman in her 70s has sadly died in hospital following a crash in St Albans' Hatfield Road.
The collision, involving a white Renault and a pedestrian, happened near the junction with Sutton Road at around 12.20pm on Friday, December 1.
The pedestrian, who was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, sadly passed away in hospital on Sunday, December 31.
Hertfordshire police have now re-appealed for witnesses to come forward.
Detective constable Felicity Moody said: "Our thoughts are with the woman’s family at this very difficult time.
“We are investigating the circumstances of the collision and as part of that I am renewing our appeal for information.
“We’d urge anyone who was in the area at the time to check their dash cam footage or to contact us if you saw it happen or the events leading to it.
"It does not matter how significant or insignificant the information might be.”
