A woman in her 60s has been hospitalised after being involved in a crash in Apsley.
At around 9.20am on Monday, December 11, the pedestrian and a Honda were involved in a collision at the pedestrian crossing on London Road, near Sainsbury’s.
The woman was taken to hospital with what police have described as "serious injuries".
The driver of the Honda remained at the scene.
Hertfordshire police have since appealed for witnesses to come forward.
PC Dale Powell said: "Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward.
“If you were driving in the area at the time and have a dash cam fitted, please check it as you may have recorded some crucial footage to help our investigation.
“I am particularly keen to speak with the driver of a vehicle that stopped at the scene but unfortunately left prior to police arrival. If this was you, or you have any further information, please email me at dale.powell@herts.police.uk.”
