There were delays to traffic in St Albans after a vehicle crashed into a signpost.
The incident took place at around 8.41am this morning (Thursday, December 14), in Beechwood Avenue.
Delays were caused in both directions on Sandpit Lane, with temporary traffic lights caused by roadworks also adding to congestion in the area.

No injuries were reported, with the incident described as a "damage-only collision" by police.
