A woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in St Albans.
The incident occurred on Hatfield Road at the junction with Sutton Road, just before 12.20pm on Friday, December 1, with a collision between a white Renault and a pedestrian reported.
The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 70s, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.

Detective Sergeant Ben Heath from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “Our enquiries into this collision are continuing, and we are appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.
“If you were driving in the area and have a dash cam fitted, please check it as you may have captured some crucial footage that could assist our investigation. If you have any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, please contact me.”
