St Albans has been named among the UK's most dog-friendly cities, according to new research.
A study by Animal Friends Pet Insurance ranked the nation's most dog-friendly cities, based on actors including the percentage of green space, training classes available, number of dog-friendly job listings and "pro-pup pubs".
With a score of 205 out of 300, St Albans beat Chelmsford to seventh place in list, but fell short of York, Bath and Colchester.
Brighton beat Exeter to the title.

According to the study, St Albans boasts 21 dog-friendly walks and scored highly for its dog-friendly restaurants, bars and cafes.
