Jewellery has been recovered from a river after being stolen during a burglary in St Albans.
The burglary happened between 3.30pm and 11.45pm in Guildford Road on Saturday, November 18.
On Sunday morning, a member of the public spotted a man discarding the box full of jewellery and watches into the River Ver in Verulamium Park.

The box was found by officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team, and lines of enquiry are now being followed up by detectives from the Local Crime Unit.
The victim of the burglary will soon be reunited with her sentimental property.
