Hertfordshire police are appealing for the owner of a horse to come forward after the animal was found roaming St Albans.
The white and black equine was discovered yesterday evening (Thursday, October 5), on Colney Heath Lane.
Officers have also asked for anyone with information regarding the animal to get in touch.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "Do you recognise this horse?

"Officers are trying to trace the owner of a horse that was found roaming in Colney Heath Lane, St Albans, earlier this evening.
"Please call 101 quoting ISR 628 of 05/10 if you have any information that may be able to assist with their enquiries."
