St Paul's Church in Fleetville is holding a free 'Repair Fair' to fix broken items that might otherwise be thrown away.
A team of fixers will be on hand at the church in Blandford Road from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday, October 7.
People are invited to bring faulty electrical items and clothing or fabrics in need of minor alterations or repairs, to reduce the amount sent to landfill.
Owners are encouraged to stay while the item is being fixed, so they can learn through the experience. Refreshments will also be served.
