West End Barns, a café in Wheathampstead, has been nominated for two awards.
The family-run eatery near Normansland Common has received a nomination 'Best Café' at the 2023 St Albans Food and Drink awards.
West End Barns' owner, Vicky Dickinson, has also been named as one of six finalists for the 2023 SME Hertfordshire Business Awards 'Young Business Person of the Year'.
On being nominated for both awards, Vicky said: "I am over the moon for us to be recognised for two separate awards.

"West End Barns was an idea that started as a lockdown project, after receiving funding and mentoring from The Henry Plumb Foundation.
"Success at the awards would mean so much to myself and our small team of dedicated staff who help make West End Barns the café it is today.
"West End Barns is a café with a difference.
"From our Grade II-listed building on our working arable farm we offer hot and cold drinks, home produced cakes, ice creams, a selection of local produce and much more.

"Everyone is welcome (whether that be dog walkers, young families or customers on horseback!) and we strive to have as minimal impact on the environment as possible - only working with local producers who share our values."
The winner of St Albans Food and Drink awards 'Best Cafe' will be announced on September 14, click here to vote.
