A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault without injury after an altercation at a property in Hemel Hempstead yesterday.
Just before 1am on Tuesday, there were reports of an altercation occurring at an address on Musk Hill.
No injuries were reported and the individuals are known to each other, with a 40-year-old man arrested and later released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Following the incident, a woman left the address and headed onto Honeycross Road before flagging down the driver of a car and calling the police.
The vehicle is described as a burgundy-coloured car, and the driver was described as a black man, aged in his late 30s, and with a small goatee beard.

"We are looking to trace this driver, who we understand spent some time with the victim, as he may have some important information to help progress our investigation," said Detective Constable Lucy Kilhams, investigating.
