A man in his 70s has sadly passed away after being hit by a van in a village near St Albans.
The incident occurred in Chiswell Green at around 4.05pm on Monday, June 26, when a grey Citroen van collided with a pedestrian.
The man, who was in 70s, died days later on Thursday, June 29, and his family has been made aware.

"Following the sad news that a man has now passed away following the incident, we are issuing a further appeal to the public," said Detective Constable Neil Crosier, from the Road Policing Unit.
"Were you in the area at the time and saw what happened? Additionally, if you have a dash cam fitted, please check it as you may have recorded some crucial footage that may help our investigation."
