A teenage boy from St Albans has been arrested following a drugs raid, in which he was reportedly in possession of a samurai sword.
The arrest followed a drugs warrant at an address in Marshalswick, on Wednesday (June 28).
The 16-year-old was taken into custody on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs and possession of a bladed article.

He has since been released while police continue their enquiries.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "A 16-year-old boy from St Albans was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs (cannabis) and possession of a bladed article (samurai sword) following a drugs warrant at an address in Marshalwick, StAlbans on Wednesday (June 28).

"We are working with the children and youth protection team.
"He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries."
