Harpenden has been named as Britain's "most desirable town", according to a study commissioned by The Telegraph.
The paper tasked estate agent Savills with putting the list together, using the latest data from the most recent census.

Towns were ranked using several key factors including state of health, cost of homes, the jobs people living there have and qualifications they hold.
Despite being a city, St Albans ranks at number 10 on list, ahead of Bath and Oxford.
