Following an altercation in St Albans, a 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault (ABH).
The incident took place at around 12.20am on Monday, May 29, inside The White Swan pub on Upper Dagnall Street.
It was reported that two men got into an altercation.
One man sustained injuries to his head and was taken to hospital for further treatment.
The 23-year-old has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Police are now appealing for witnesses and information.
Investigator Nicole Wilson said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.
“If you were in the area at the time and saw anything, please get in touch.
"Any information, even something that may seem relatively minor or insignificant, could be key to progressing our investigation.
