A four-year campaign for a new playground in St Albans has reached its final stages.
'Let's Play at Bernards Heath' set out to raise £100,000 to renovate a playground - off Sandridge Road - in 2019.
£75,000 has already been raised, with a "final fundraising push" needed to get the campaign over the line.
The charity has marked "the final part of its funding mission" by launching a 'buy-a-brick' campaign.

The initiative offers those who wish to support the new playground the chance to buy a professionally engraved paving brick.
Two lines of text will be added per brick, allowing local families to have their children’s names engraved.
The bricks will then be used at the entrance for the playground, as a nod to Bernards Heath’s brick-making past.
A minimum donation of £100 is suggested.
Let’s Play at Bernards Heath chairman David Pearce said: “The new playground will benefit hundreds of families nearby.
"It’s no longer a question of whether there’ll be a new play area; it’s all about how amazing we can make the new playground.
"With £75,000 already raised, this really is the final countdown and one fantastic last chance for the community and local businesses to help make the new playground truly great by donating and making a lasting, personalised contribution.

“This final initiative will, quite literally, pave the way for a fantastic new facility on Bernards Heath.
"If we secure sponsors for 250 bricks that will make a huge difference and enable us to purchase more of the equipment items requested by children in the area.
"To quote a local American resident who WhatsApped a Pink Floyd reference to encourage others – ‘There’s another brick in y’all!’”
A spokesperson for the charity added: "This really is the final countdown, and one fantastic last chance for the community and local businesses to help make the new playground truly great by donating and making a lasting, personalised contribution."
The new playground at Bernards Heath is set to be completed by spring 2024.
