A man has been jailed following an "unprovoked attack" in Borehamwood.
Andrew Eyton - of Monkswood Gardens - was sentenced to 20 months in prison on Wednesday (April 26), having pleaded guilty to GBH without intent at St Albans Crown Court.
The 47-year-old's sentencing follows the discovery of an unconscious man in Shenley Road on October 14, 2022.
CCTV footage revealed that the individual had been subject to an "unprovoked attack", causing a significant head injury.

Eyton was then identified, arrested and charged before being remanded into custody.
The victim has since made a full recovery.
PC Leo Stockil said: "I hope this result reassures the public and local community.
"There was a significant police presence in the area at the time and I understand the impact incidents like this have on the community.
"Thankfully, we were able to identify the offender quickly and take appropriate action.”
