A man who assaulted and harassed his partner in St Albans has been given a five-year restraining order.
Vincent Flemons, of Clarendon Road, Luton, admitted harassing his victim with texts, emails and phone calls at his workplace in August last year, and to a number of violent incidents.
He pleaded guilty to assault on June 6, 2022, assault by beating on August 27, and criminal damage and assault by beating on August 29.

The 49-year-old was given the restraining order after spending six months behind bars, and he will return to jail if it is breached.
"Our primary concern was to safeguard Flemons’ victim who was not only being physically abused but was also being bombarded with unwanted texts, emails and phone calls at his workplace leaving him feeling suffocated," said Detective Constable Alex Willans, from the Domestic Abuse Investigation and Safeguarding Unit.
"His ex-partner said he has received 'fantastic' support from police since he reported the incidents all the way through to the court case.

"He initially felt he had nowhere to turn and felt exhausted with the situation, which was dominating his life, including his work.
"He said he would encourage anyone experiencing domestic abuse to get help and not suffer anymore at the hands of an abuser."
