The 40-year-old mother of four and her co-defendants were found guilty of causing a public nuisance and risking “serious harm” to Formula One drivers at Northampton Crown Court in February.
At the time, Alasdair Gibson, Louis McKechnie, Bethany Mogie, David Baldwin, Emily Brocklebank and Joshua Smith all claimed that the protest did not risk serious harm.
On Friday (March 31), Bethany Mogie was sentenced to six months in jail, suspended for two years.
The other five campaigners were also handed suspended sentences and community service orders.
During the trial, Ms Mogie told the Jury: "You may think that we don’t have much in common, but I think it’s easy to see what we do have in common, more than what sets us apart. Because, at the end of the day, we are all the same – we are mothers, fathers, sons and daughters and we love our families.”
“To love is to protect and I hope you can see that’s what we set out to do that day at Silverstone. I would never take part in something that could hurt anyone – none of us could."
