St Albans High School for Girls Prep in Wheathampstead is preparing to host its third children's book festival in June.
The family day out features visiting authors, arts, crafts and games – as well as a food court.
This year's line-up of authors and illustrators includes Nick Butterworth, Ross Welford, SF Said, Sarah Roberts and Isabel Thomas, plus performance poet Kimba.
There'll be plenty of opportunities for children to quiz their favourite authors, pose for photos together and have their books signed.
Big names who have appeared at the festival in previous years include David Baddiel, Simon Pegg, Rob Biddulph and Onjali Rauf.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 10, from 10am to 5pm.
Individual tickets cost £15, while family tickets are £50. Kids under four are free.
The festival will be held at STAHS Prep in Codicote Road.
