Redbourn has been selected to represent the Anglian region in the finals of the Royal Horticultural Society's (RHS) Britain in Bloom this year.
Last year Redbourn in Bloom received a gold award and was first in the small towns category at Anglia in Bloom.
The 'in Bloom' project is not only about colourful flower planting, but also community involvement, care for the environment, sustainability and business support.
All age groups in the village are encouraged to get involved, including schools, toddler groups, village organisations and businesses.
Redbourn in Bloom is welcoming volunteers to help with planting schemes and assist at events.
Any groups in the community with their own planting or environmental project which could be included in the portfolio are asked to get in touch as soon as possible.
Residents and businesses are also encouraged to make a special effort to help keep Redbourn looking tidy and colourful.
