Harpenden's High Street Players will perform Go Back For Murder - a play inspired by Agatha Christie's novel Five Little Pigs.
The play is set in 1966 but goes back in time to 1950 to re-examine the murder of artist Amyas Crale, at the request of his daughter Carla.
Her late mother was imprisoned for the crimes, but Carla is determined to prove her innocence.
The play required a portrait of actor Nicola Preston - who plays Elsa - which was provided by Sabbi Gavrailov from Harpenden Arts Club.
