This year, a record 35 teams took part, with teams of four flipping pancakes up and down the streets of St Albans.
Lumin Wealth secured the title of running race champions for a second-straight year, while Wagada Digital won the walking race for the fourth year in a row.
The event was organised by Home-Start Hertfordshire, along with Business Buzz, with all proceeds going to local families who are vulnerable and struggling to cope.
Home-Start Hertfordshire is a volunteer-led charity which provides a family mentor to struggling families.
These mentors then provide one-to-one support for both emotional and practical issues.
The charity has also created eight 'family groups' throughout Hertfordshire.
These groups allow families to seek support from mentors and other parents, while children play in a safe and secure environment.
Home-Start Hertfordshire's CEO, Suzy Moody, said: "The St Albans Pancake Festival had such a great vibe this year, with a huge number of teams taking part.
"The atmosphere was brilliant and we were thrilled it was such a hit with the St Albans locals who came along to support the event.
"It’s really important for us to raise awareness of what we do and we are delighted with the amount of money we have raised - more this year that in previous years – which will all go towards helping local families.
"We wouldn’t be able to put on this event without the support of our headline sponsor SA Law, our pancake banner sponsors and the goodwill of our wonderful volunteers who helped on the day.
