Keanu Reeves delighted residents and staff at a Hertfordshire pub after a surprise lunchtime visit.
The Matrix star popped into The Robin Hood in Tring on Saturday afternoon, where he was asked if he would be ok taking photos with kitchen staff.
The pub wrote: “He marched into the kitchen, shook their hands and praised them for the food they had prepared. Suffice to say he made their days!!!”
Chef Scott Valentine, 18, told the BBC that Reeves and two others ordered two large fish and chips and two shepherd’s pies.
“It was a bit worrying because I had to cook for him but we took it out to him and he said thank you and was really nice.”
He added that at first he thought it looked like the famous actor but thought nothing of it, before a colleague confirmed it was him.

“Then we started freaking out a little bit,” he said.
Barmaid Laura Rolfe told the Metro Reeves was “lovely”, and that one of the cooks looked like he was going to pass out with excitement.
It is unclear why Reeves was visiting Hertfordshire, but last summer he surprised locals in Northamptonshire while reportedly filming in the area.
