A 14-year-old boy has been seriously injured after being hit by a car.
The incident took place at around 6pm yesterday (Thursday, February 2) on the A4251 London Road, in Hemel Hempstead.

At that time, the boy was crossing the road when he was struck by a black SEAT Leon.
A woman has since been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Sergeant Nicholas Kane said: "We are trying to determine exactly what happened this evening and as well as witnesses, we are also keen to hear from anyone with dash cam footage or anyone who saw the incident.
