An Oriental foods supermarket is set to open on the site of a former Polish shop in St Albans.
Mrs Ladybird Polish shop - also known as Polski Sklep - was based at 108 London Road, but permanently closed last summer.
The premises has remained empty since that time, but now new frontage has appeared for Ballo Oriental Foods.

This is a Chinese supermarket company based at Hertfordshire Business Centre in London Colney, specialising in food from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Korea.
It now appears to be expanding to offer a new retail outlet in the centre of St Albans.
