"State of-the-art" updates such as Peloton and Watt bikes, a Hydrow rower and new weightlifting equipment have all been made to the 145-station gym.
Four fitness studios are now also present at the location including a 29-bike cycle studio and a hot yoga studio.
Steve Cox, area contract manager at Everyone Active, said: "Westminster Lodge gym is now an example of best-in-class.
“We want to ensure that the people of this area have nothing less than gold-standard gyms and facilities.
"This is why we have invested so much in Westminster Lodge in particular, our flagship centre in the region with 5,000 members, which welcomes over 80,000 visits a month.
"It is a centre of excellence for fitness and wellness, and we are very proud of it.
"We have also renovated our gyms and fitness rooms in Harpenden, Batchwood and Cotlandswick, to bring them up to gold-standard too.
"Gym-goers have become much more discerning in recent years.
"As people are prioritising their health and fitness more, they are demanding the best quality equipment and facilities.
"The better the environment, the more likely we become part of the fabric of people’s lives, and the more likely that people reach their target of 30 minutes’ exercise, five times a week, which is our mission.”
