A St Albans academy has been named as a 'Distinguished School' by technology giant Apple.

The Samuel Ryder Academy, on Drakes Drive, has once again been named as an 'Apple Distinguished School' after using the company's technology for a range of educational means.

The school's recognition from Apple lasts until 2025.

"The recognition highlights successes made with a one-to-one iPad scheme allowing students to access the curriculum and make progress without prejudice.
