St Saviour's Church in St Albans will be holding its Christmas Tree Festival once again, after an extended break due to the pandemic.
From Friday, December 16 to Thursday, December 22, 85 illuminated trees will be on display - decorated by community groups, individuals, businesses and charities.
There will also be a daytime café serving tea, coffee and mince pies, as well as a bar in the evening.
The Mayor of St Albans, Councillor Geoff Harrison, said: "Christmas Tree Festivals at St Saviours are always such wonderful events and after a break this one should be particularly special.
"A great way to get into the Christmas Spirit!"
Entry to the festival is free for daytime visits and on Friday and Saturday evenings, but donations are welcome and will be split between local charities Open Door and Centre 33, as well as going towards church funds.
Evening events at the church up until Christmas include film nights, a quiz and a 'Gospel Christmas' evening with Just Sing! St Albans, featuring T Jae Cole and the Powerhouse Gospel Choir.
The festival committee hopes the event will bring people together from both the community and further afield.
