A nutcracker has allegedly been stolen from St Albans Clock Tower.
The nutcracker, which was part of a Christmas trail organised by St Albans BID (Business Improvement District), was reportedly taken on Thursday, December 1.
The item is one of ten positioned in various locations across the city.

Vivien Cannon, manager at St Albans BID, said: "We are sorry to see that Corporal Gabriel has been stolen.
"We would very much like him back, as this trail brings festive joy to so many people.
"We urge whoever took him to do the right thing.
“We urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the St Albans BID team so we can collect him, or please – just put him back in place.
"Someone must know where he is - he’s hard to hide!”
