Knitted postbox toppers have raised £11,000 for charity following the launch at St Albans Abbey.
The postboxes were launched at St Albans clock tower on the morning of Thursday, December 1, by the city's mayor Cllr Geoff Harrison.

St Albans MP Daisy Cooper also attended the event, reportedly stating that 'no matter how busy her diary, December 1 would always mean postboxes'.
The clocktower postbox now features a knitted version of the Waffle House, with a "hungry" green dinosaur also featured.
A 'wooly St Albans Abbey' was unveiled by the Sopwell Knitters the night before.
Phyllis Sweeny said: "This is our first ever group post box topper project and it’s a whopper!
"It was coordinated and constructed by Nadine with us all (Nadine, Phyllis, Marga, Alison, Francine, Jenny, and Sue) contributing sections in knitting or crochet.
"The project started out as a bit of a joke but it has turned into a labour of love which we are super proud of.
"We really hope you enjoy it."
Over £6,000 had already been donated by November 2, with all proceeds going to St Albans Community Pantry and St Albans Action for Homeless.
