Over 18,000 people attended Harpenden's Christmas Carnival last weekend, and were treated to a range of festive activities.
The event took place on Sunday, November 27, and featured Christmas-themed activities, market stalls and fairground rides.

Father Christmas was also present in both the Harpenden Common Grotto and in a procession through the High Street.
Live entertainment from local acts such as the Harpenden and Wheathampstead Gang Show, the Harpenden Pantomime, singer Simon Cragg and cover band Right as Rain.
The town's Mayor, Cllr Lisa Scriven, was joined on stage by the winner of the Mayor's christmas card competition, the pantomime cast and sponsors SA Law for the annual Christmas lights switch-on.
The Mayor said: "The Christmas Carnival is a really exciting event in Harpenden with a wonderful festive atmosphere.
"It is always a pleasure to see residents and visitors of all ages enjoying the entertainment, food and drinks, as well as doing a spot of Christmas shopping.
"We would like to thank SA Law for supporting the 2022 Carnival as our Principal Sponsor and helping to make this year’s event such a success!”
SA Law's director of financial and business support, Gill Garrett, added: "The Harpenden Christmas Carnival is an integral part of our seasonal celebrations; with many SA Law staff members being residents who enjoy the carnival year after year.
