Over £6,000 has already been donated to charities supported by the St Albans Postboxes Team.
Every year, the team adorn St Albans' postboxes with knitted toppers in a variety of shapes and sizes.
The yarnbombing of St Albans postboxes began in 2018, with over 250 toppers created since then.
This year, sponsors have been donating to St Albans Action For Homeless (SAAH) and Sopwell Community Trust, with £6,600 already raised.

Makers of the postbox toppers have been deivering them to 'Postboxes HQ', where Candy Stuart and Lucy Dronfield are preparing them for December.
Candy said: "We love seeing the toppers arrive, made by so many people - individuals and groups working together.
"Postbox toppers are often portrayed as being knitted by older ladies, but we see all ages working with wool - crochet, knitting, and sewing."
This week, a topper from Woodcraft Folk Youth Group St Albans was delivered.
Imke Hoffman said: "The children love St Albans Postboxes, and we are now in our 3rd year participating.
"It is one of their favourite sessions in the Autumn term.
"We still love being outdoors as much as possible.
"Our theme this years is flowers in rainbow colours to brighten up the winter days.”
