St Albans Centurions have cornered a small part of the Rugby League World Cup for themselves - with a former player among the ranks of one of the minnows.
Aussie forward Adam Kambouris is back in the UK as one of the coaches of Greece.
He spent five seasons with the club during the late 2000s before going semi-pro in France and then his native country.
Several former club-mates met up with before the game against France.
One of the current crop of Cents is also getting an international call-up.
Adam Jasinski, who plays as either a winger or full-back, has been selected to represent Poland in their developing nations game against Slovakia in Bratislava on Friday and then against Norway in London on November 12.
Centurions coach Sam Wingad said: "I would like to say how proud I am of Adam and of all the hard work he has put in for Centurions over the last season.
"I can honestly say that Adam fully deserves this honour of playing in the red and white."
Jasinski is the eighth Cents player to gain international recognition in amateur rugby league.
