A St Albans school is celebrating its 10-year anniversary.
The Alban City School, in Hatfield Road, is planning a variety of events to mark the occassion.
The school officially opened in March 2013, when children sang songs in front of a packed audience at a special assembly.
History repeated itself in April 2020, when Alban City School pupils wrote a song for key workers, during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
Due to restrictions at the time, the song was recorded by staff members at their homes, doing fun moves and dancing with teddy bears.
Now, a new song will be written and recorded by pupils, to mark 10 years of the school.
Art installations and a whole school photograph will also take place.
Elizabeth Hodgkinson, a school governer and parent, said: "I am so proud of all the school has achieved and grateful that my children have benefited from everything the school has to offer.
"Having had a child at the school for over seven years now, I have seen it go from strength to strength.
"Not only with the abundance of extracurricular activities on offer, but also the wonderful teaching, amazing facilities (including a 120 seat theatre), thriving PTA and establishment of a diverse, engaged school community all committed to making the children have as wonderful a school experience as possible.
"Not to mention the arrival of the super cute school dog, Lani. What a great addition to our city the school is!
"Everyone rose to the challenge of schooling during the pandemic and this hard work was rewarded with the most fantastic Key Stage 2 SATs results this summer - the results being well above the national average.
"Recently the school has welcomed a number of families from Ukraine and Hong Kong, and with over 30 languages spoken it is a wonderfully diverse and thriving community."
The school will be running tours over the coming months for potential new pupils joining Reception.
