A man in his 40s was hospitalised this afternoon following a collision with a car in St Albans.
An ambulance was called to the junction of Victoria Street and Bricket Road and paramedics initially treated the injured man at the scene.
After complaining of abdominal and shoulder pain he was then taken Watford General Hospital, and is now in a stable condition.
