A performing arts company for youngsters is preparing for its biggest production to date.
Living the Dream’s Easter Showcase can be seen on stage at The Alban Arena in St Albans on Saturday, April 15.
Zoë Jackson MBE, who set up Living the Dream in 2006, said: “This showcase will be our biggest and most exciting production to date.”
Living the Dream will be hosting a full-time Easter course from Monday, April 10 to Good Friday, April 14 ahead of the Easter extravaganza, with some places still available.
The week will culminate with the Living the Dream finale featuring street dance, contemporary dance, acting, musical theatre and singing at the Arena on April 15 at 6.30pm.
The production is a variety showcase created entirely by young people who want to make a difference through the arts, have fun, grow in talent and confidence and feel empowered to believe in themselves and their dreams.
Living the Dream founder Zoë said: “We run these amazing showcases to help make a difference to young people’s lives through the arts by empowering them to believe in themselves and their dreams.
“The show will be an entertaining, fun and heartwarming production with talented performers who will blow you away.”
Proceeds from the showcase will go towards the charity the Dream Foundation.
Zoë added: “Your support will also help raise money for our charity the Dream Foundation, which gives young people at a disadvantage access to the arts.”
Tickets are £15, and £10 concessions.
