Thousands of people descended on Redbourn for the Herts County Show at the weekend – which offered a variety of circus fun, show jumping, livestock, cars and plenty more.
The event, which was held at The Showground on Saturday and Sunday, attracted families from across the county and beyond as it delivered on something for everyone from performances for children, locally produced goods to purchase, and even a sale on hot tubs.
Richard Young, editor of show sponsors Hertfordshire Life magazine, said: “With such a friendly atmosphere, cracking arena shows, the chance to see the animals and chat to the people who are such an important part of our countryside, and a renewed focus on great Herts businesses – from fabulous food to independent specialists, this year’s county show was a huge success.
“It’s all the more impressive when you know that the show is put on by a small dedicated team and a huge number of volunteers, and it is not-for-profit - meaning money made goes back into making it even better each year.”
