Christine Farrington

The Revd Canon Christine Farrington Died on 10th October. For many years her home was in Redbourn. Christine was born in Cheshunt in 1942. Her first career was in the Probation Service. Her life changed course when, in the early 1980s, she began training for ordained ministry within the Church of England. She subsequently became prison chaplain, then deacon at Salisbury Cathedral, Honorary Canon at Ely Cathedral and vicar of St Mark's, Cambridge (1996 - 2002). She was a Queen's Chaplain from 1998 - 2012. Funeral service will take place at St. Mary's Church, Redbourn on Wednesday 11th November at 12pm followed by a private family committal at Hemel Hempstead Crematorium following the reception.
